Scott Thomas Beauchamp…

How sad that one disgruntled, self-loathing, poor excuse for man or soldier
is allowed to sully the honor of the Regiment with his filthy lies...

May I urge you who have contacts within 1-18 to get them to set the record
straight?

And may God bless you all.

CO Ft Slocum NY late 1920's

The 18th was at Ft Slocum NY from 1922, CO Col Orrin Rawson Wolfe. It
continued there under Col John Jewsbury Bradley at least until he retired
in 1927. Can anyone tell me when the regiment left Slocum? Was it still
there while Col Charles Frederic Humphrey Jr was CO (possibly through
1928)? Thank you for any help you can lend.

A BROther loses a Brother

I received an email from John & Sandy Nykiel that Mike Binkley's brother
Dan had passed away in Ohio. Mike is the 18th Regiment Honorary Sergeant
Major, and has been involved with the 18th Regiment and the Big Red One for
years. If you would like to send a card to Mike & Becky, following is their
new address, which I will update on our list. They are building a new home
and at present do not have internet access.

Mike & Becky our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow.
